Based on a mood board and brief given, the client was inspired by art references from the Black Arts Movement specifically jazz avant-garde. The style inspiration helps emphasize the roots in which part of Masego's music derives from.
This design was inspired by the multifaceted artist himself, and the trance that his music envelopes his audience in. From the color palette, to the blend of organic shapes and expressive linework, the work represents the feeling when listening to Masego preform. This piece also highlights Masego's multiple talents and skills that helped him achieve the status and recognition currently receives.
